2 teaspoons dehydrated onions
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon chili powder
½ teaspoon cornstarch
¼-1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (to taste)
½ teaspoon granulated garlic
¼ teaspoon dried oregano leaves
½ teaspoon cumin
1 lbs. hamburger
Brown the ground beef in a pan over medium heat. Drain excess grease.
While the hamburger is cooking, combine all ingredients and add about ½ to 1 cup of water to mix help reconstitute dehydrated onions.
Add water and mix to cooked and drained hamburger. Continue cooking until water has evaporated.
Serve hot on tortillas, nachos, or other Mexican dishes.
This mix will store for 6+ months in an airtight container.
