About the Recipe

Ingredients

  • 6 scallions, white and green parts

  • 2 teaspoons seeded and minced habanero pepper (use gloves when cutting and seeding)

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • ¼ cup vegetable oil

  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme

  • 1 teaspoon allspice

Preparation

  1. Combine ingredients in a blender and process until mixture forms a paste. Yield 1 ¼ cups

  2. Rub on meats and grill to desired doneness.
