Drain Cleaner

Keep your drains clean and smelling fresh.

  • ¼ cup baking soda

  • 1 cup distilled white vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon salt (optional)

  1. If your sink drain is draining slowly, remove the stopper and pour about a ¼ cup of baking soda into drainpipe and about 1 tablespoon of salt. Pour vinegar into the drainpipe.

  2. The chemical reaction between the baking soda and the vinegar scrubs the pipes and cleans it. By adding salt, it works as a scrubbing agent.

Use this recipe on a monthly basis to also keep your drainpipes draining quickly and smelling fresh.
