Drain Cleaner
Keep your drains clean and smelling fresh.
¼ cup baking soda
1 cup distilled white vinegar
1 tablespoon salt (optional)
If your sink drain is draining slowly, remove the stopper and pour about a ¼ cup of baking soda into drainpipe and about 1 tablespoon of salt. Pour vinegar into the drainpipe.
The chemical reaction between the baking soda and the vinegar scrubs the pipes and cleans it. By adding salt, it works as a scrubbing agent.
Use this recipe on a monthly basis to also keep your drainpipes draining quickly and smelling fresh.
