Ingredients
1 ½ cups mayonnaise
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 cup thinly sliced green onions with tops
2 teaspoons crushed or minced garlic
1 loaf French bread sliced in half lengthwise
1/3 cup fresh parsley, minced (optional)
Preparation
Mix mayonnaise, cheese, onions and garlic.
Spread on both halves of French loaf.
Sprinkle with parsley.
Wrap each half in foil and refrigerate for 1-2 hours or freeze.
Unwrap and place on a baking sheet.
Bake for 8-10 minutes (20-25 minutes if frozen) at 400°F, or until puffed but not brown.
Slice and serve warm.
